Definitions:

Save where the contrary intention appears the following terms shall hereinafter mean the following:

  • The “site” shall mean www.rightsolicitor.co.uk, which provides the services owned and operated by Right Solicitor, registered in England (Registration Number place number).
    The “company” shall mean Right solicitor, who provides the services to the consumer and the solicitor.
    The “user” shall mean the consumer to whom the services are provided.
    The “solicitor” shall mean the solicitor to whom the services are provided.
    The following are the terms and conditions and on any official attachments, the parties for themselves, their successors, explicitly agree to accept these terms in their entirety:
  • Services: The Company offers to provide the User with a Solicitor search service. The site provides the User seeking legal services an opportunity to find Solicitors who are interested in providing legal services to the User.
  • Conduct: You agree at all times to provide true and accurate information when using the site.
  • User Assumes Responsibility: The Company does not authenticate or confirm the validity and accuracy of information submitted by User or Solicitors. The Company does not at any time guarantee the quality of any work of the Solicitors on behalf of the User or otherwise. The Company cannot accept responsibility for any loss, damage, or delay however occurred.
  • Disclaimer of Liability – No Solicitor/Client relationship  Use of this Service does not constitute legal advice and does not offer recommendations, endorsements, or legal representation of any sort. There is therefore no Solicitor/Client relationship between a Solicitor and User. The Service offered by the company allows the User a means to obtain guidance on appropriate legal advisors. The Company does not practice law, nor provides legal services. The User is free to accept the use of the solicitor recommended by the company or use the service of another solicitor, the final decision is the user’s. The Company provides a free service to the User as there is no fee charged by The Company to the User for it’s service.  The legal service provided by the solicitor to the User will not be free. The legal fees incurred will be the responsibility of the User and hereby releases the Company from the responsibility of those legal fees. 
  • Disclaimer of Liability – The Site The Company makes no representations or warranties of any kind with respect to this site or its contents and disclaims all such representations and warranties. In addition, The Company makes no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any purpose of the information and related graphics published in this site. The information contained in this site may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. All liability of the Company howsoever arising for any such inaccuracies or errors is expressly excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Company nor any of its partners, employees or other representatives will be liable for loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the use of this site. This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties. This website may contains links to other websites. The Company is not responsible for the content or availability of such other websites and to the extent permitted by law disclaims all liability in respect of such contents and in respect of any other websites or contents which the visitor may be able to access from such websites. No warranty is given that this website is free from infection by viruses or anything else that has contaminating or destructive properties.
  • Discharge:  Users and Solicitors forever discharge the Company, it’s directors, officers, employees and shareholders from all claims, losses, injuries, damages or liabilities of any kind, whether known/unknown or suspected/unsuspected, disclosed/undisclosed in relation to the services provided by the Company and arising out of any Users or solicitors User of the service in locating a solicitor.
  • Disclosure of Information: By using this service you acknowledge that the nature of the internet is such that, information provided can be intercepted by third parties, and that disclosure of electronic communications may occur. Users should avoid disclosing any privileged information regarding matters for which legal representation is sought. Users should only give specific information as names of persons, businesses, and facts that would readily identify the parties involved, once User has selected a Solicitor and made contact with them over the telephone or by arranged appointment. By the User disclosing their name and contact number to the Company they are agreeing for one or more of our Panel Solicitors to contact them and also forfeits any privacy and anonymity rights under these terms and conditions. By the User accepting these terms and condition he/she agrees that the Company and the site are not responsible for any legal advice given by a solicitor on our panel and also accepts that The Company has the irrevocable right to seek and obtain the fee from the Solicitor solely for assessing the referral fee.
  • Discretion to use: It is the sole responsibility of the User in accepting solicitor on The Company’s Panel. The Company does not and will not direct a User on which Solicitor to instruct. 
  • Conflicts of Interest: It is the Sole responsibility of the Solicitor for checking for conflicts of interest between the User and other clients of the Solicitor.
  • Providing Personal Information: The company will only collect the User’s contact information as name, address and email and telephone number, that is provided by the User at the onset of the matter for the purpose of obtaining legal service. The Company will never ask the User to provide any payment or credit card information.
  • Solicitors Code of Conduct 2007:  The Company will at all times comply with the Solicitors Code of Conduct 2007 as published and amended by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (“the Code”) and in particular with the provisions of Rule 9 of the Code. Where the user accepts the legal services of a solicitor introduced by The Company, the solicitor will pay the company a fee, which will vary from 10-20% of the total fees (excluding disbursements & VAT).   The User will not be liable for this fee.
  • Reservations: The Company reserves the right to change and or amend this agreement at any time by posting the changes on the website.
  • Complaints Procedure:  If your claim falls under the compensation Act 2006 and you wish to make a complaint, the procedure is as follows:

    (i) You may make a complaint in writing, by email, by telephone or in any other form.
    (ii) We reserve the right to decline to consider a complaint that is made after 6 months since you became aware of the cause of the complaint.
    (iii) We will initially write to you to advise of acknowledgement of complaint within 5 working days and give you name of person handling the claim. The person will be independent to the matter and in a capacity to deal with the complaint
    (iv) Wherever possible, the person connected to the complaint will not deal with the complaint. The complaint will be assessed by someone with authority to settle the complaint, and deal with the issues of the complaint,
    (v) The complaint will be dealt with as quickly as is humanely possible, in order to rectify the Users complaint and uphold the Users interests.
    (vi) If the User is not satisfied with the response that he/she has received then they can contact:-

    The Regulator can review the handling of the complaint and can give a direction on further handling of the complaint. However, he cannot determine a complaint or award compensation.
